Minnesota Canvassing Board Declares Franken Winner
It’s all but official, Democrat Al Franken has beaten incumbent Norm Coleman to win the U.S. Senate seat from Minnesota. Two months after the election, the canvassing board of Minnesota has finally certified Franken as the winner. Franken led the final recount by a mere 225 votes out of about 2.4 million cast.
