In a blog post today Huffington Post creator/editor Arianna Huffington claims that presumptive Republican John McCain and his wife both admitted to her that they didn’t vote for President Bush in 2000. This raises major doubts about how McCain can go from not being able to stomach voting for Bush, to completely adopting his policies purely for one last shot at the presidency. It’s something Huffington has been pointing out for some time–that the John McCain on the ballot in 2008 is a completely different candidate than the maverick who almost captured the Republican nomination in 2000.
